What data is collected on this site
projectpeakspan.com is a static website hosted on Netlify. Outside of the newsletter form, no personal data is collected or stored by this site. Specifically, the site runs:
- No analytics (no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Matomo, no Fathom)
- No advertising pixels or tracking beacons
- No affiliate tracking
- No cookies set by this origin
- No fingerprinting scripts
Server-side logs (Netlify)
Netlify, as the hosting provider, keeps short-lived access logs that include IP address, user-agent string, and requested URL. Netlify's data processing is covered by its Privacy Policy and its DPA. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation and abuse prevention).
Third-party fonts
Font files are loaded from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Google receives your IP address when those font files are fetched. If you prefer not to contact Google, block those hosts in your browser; the site will still render with system fonts. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Newsletter subscription
If you enter an email address in the subscribe form and submit it, that email address is sent directly to Kit (formerly ConvertKit, operated by SeedProd LLC, United States). Kit is the processor for the same newsletter that powers nikohems.de — one signup covers both sites.
- What Kit receives: your email address and the form ID (8713107).
- Purpose: to deliver half-yearly drop announcements and occasional methodology updates.
- Retention: until you unsubscribe. Every email contains an unsubscribe link, one click away.
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent, given by submitting the form). Consent can be withdrawn at any time via the unsubscribe link.
- International transfer: Kit is US-based. Data transfer is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Kit's standard contractual clauses. See Kit's privacy policy.
No other data is collected via the form — no name, no IP logging by this site, no behavioural profiling.
Your rights under GDPR
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data held about you (Art. 15)
- Correct inaccurate data (Art. 16)
- Delete your data (Art. 17) — for newsletter data, the unsubscribe link is the fastest route
- Restrict processing (Art. 18)
- Data portability (Art. 20)
- Object to processing (Art. 21)
- Withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3))
